Drive-In Cinema Erkelenz

April 2020, festivals cancelled, so we built a drive-in cinema. An 80 sqm LED screen, an FM frequency for in-car audio, food and drinks pickup. What started as movie weekends with Joker, A Star is Born, and Parasite grew into something bigger: stand-up comedy, a wedding, church services, and a DJ solo concert from Electrisize resident Timbo. I built and ran the ticketing system and operated the screen as show controller.
